All communications between web clients, mobile devices, and our cloud servers are encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / SSL 256-bit certificates). Unencrypted HTTP traffic is prohibited.

Encryption at Rest

Primary databases, document attachments, prescription scans, and backup volumes are protected using industry-standard AES-256 bit encryption keys managed under strict cryptographic isolation.

3. Granular Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

Mr.Genious HMS prevents unauthorized internal data exposure through granular access control tiers:

  • Doctors: Full access to patient clinical histories, lab reports, and prescription issuance.
  • Receptionists: Limited access to queue management, appointment scheduling, and registration details without visibility into private clinical diagnoses.
  • Pharmacists: Access restricted to medicine inventory, batch tracking, and dispensing prescriptions.
  • Accountants: Access to billing, invoice ledgers, and revenue collections without clinical record editing rights.

4. Multi-Tenant Data Isolation & Backups

Each clinic and hospital operates within an isolated tenant environment, guaranteeing that data cannot leak between different healthcare facilities. We execute automated daily geo-redundant backups with multi-region failover to ensure rapid disaster recovery and continuous uptime.

5. WhatsApp Cloud API Security

WhatsApp notifications and reminders sent through Mr.Genious HMS leverage Meta's enterprise WhatsApp Cloud API infrastructure. All messages are securely routed through authenticated webhooks with cryptographic signature verification (SHA-256 HMAC), ensuring that only verified events trigger patient notifications.
